Labor and employment Law Employment Contracts
Recently I was under contract with a trucking co. thru Dec.31. Thier was not A no compete clause in this contract. While picking up loads from a company I was sent to, I was notified that they may need additional carriers.--name removed--I submited a bid to become one. The co. that sent me found out and canceled my contract, even though nothing in the contract I signed prevented me from doing--name removed-- Is this a breach of contract? Can I recover damages?

You may have a breach of contract claim and may have the right to damages. You need to have the contract reviewed by an attorney who can then advise you what to do.
