leaky roof at work

we have a leaky roof at work, and i don't think our owner is planning to fix it anytime soon. i'm afraid that one of those days something bad can happen. should or could i ask our owner to fix the roof?

Yes. Ask them to fix it. If it is not done romptly, ask again, but this time do it in writing so you have proof that you did so. If something happens because the landlord did not fix the roof after being warned, you may have a claim for any damages that were caused as a result.
