Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
Is it legal for employers to express a certain religion in favor of other religions? For example, hiring workplace chaplans that pray with employees while they are on the job, and giving speeches at work functions about god?

IT is not permissible for an employer to discrimination based upon religion. So I think if you dont wish to pray or go to religious speeches and are penalized for it, then that might be actionable discrimination which you may wish to address with HR or the EEOC. FOr more information on discrimination claims and filing with the EEOC check out my employee rights blog www.takethisjobnshoveitblog.com or my website www.behrenlaw.com.
