Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
I am on long term disability from work for 1yr. I get a separation from work letter with a bill for over $2,000 for back insurace payments. The co. Lost me in system and the co. Did not put me on CORBA ins. All med. bills was pd now the employer threatens to revoke all payments unless I pay all money in 1 wk times. Plus they will not release my 401k and will not return calls. Is this legal to hold 401k and request payment out of blue for past med ins from 2014 and just pick a random date to do so in 1 wk time?

I would have to look at your documents to see if what they are doing is legal or not. Also if they did not give you timely COBRA notices that is not legal. I have handled many of these types of cases so feel free to call or e-mail me to discuss further.
