Mandatory meetings

Can an employer mandate employees (full and Part time)attend meetings unpaid, outside of their scheduled hours?

It depends on many factors. It sounds like the mandatory meetings may be a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA")or the Floridaa equivalent. However, those statutes only apply in certain circumstances, and then there are exceptions and exemptions.
