non signed contract

i'm trying to find a case or statute hat deals with reembursement of employees travel and other expenses during probationary period, and without having any written contract, this employee was fired only 3 weeks after the starting of employment and was never refunded any expenses

In Florida, there is no statute or controlling law that expressly provides for employees in the private sector to be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses. IF the claim is under $5K, you might consider filing a small claims case which can be initiated by filing a 1-page "Statement of Claim" that is a form you simply fill out, plus payment of the filing fee.
