Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I was offered a job and turned down another job because of the offer. After accepting and arranging for training the job offer was rescinded without explanation. I incurred babysitting fees and the embarrassment of announcing to colleagues and family that I had a job. Is there anything I can do.

Probably not. If your agreement was in writing and provided that you could not be terminated or the offer recinded, perhaps -- depending on what it says.
