Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
I was offered a severance package in a job elimination. I choose the package. My HR director and one administartor made the offer. When I chose the package over continued work with horrible hours I was told I didn't qualify for the package it was offered never dreaming I would take it. What can I do.

Severance packages are optional and at the discretion of the company. An employer is not required to offer severance. I suppose you could quit (and possibly qualify for unemployment if your hours have changed substantially) or remain employed there and work the hours requested.
