Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

The Right To Be Paid for Sleep Time

I work at a Group Home facility where I am able to sleep during the night, however, I am still responsible for residents while in the house. If they awake, I can claim those hours, however, if I am a sleep and they are asleep, I do not get paid. Is this legal?
