Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

paint fumes

I was working in a jail where it was recently painted. I requested several times to be removed from the ares. My sergeant would not remove me. As a result I became sick. After staying in the infected area for 4 hours I went to the Major and requested to be removed. Requested was granted. What course of action can I take.
