Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Paycheck withheld

I resigned from my place of employment before meeting my two year contract commitment and my last paycheck has been withheld. The document I signed stated I would need to repay monies invested in my position not that they would withold my last paycheck. What are the legalities of this situation?

Re: Paycheck withheld

There is no way of knowing without seeing the contract itself. The "amount invested" is probably much more than your last paycheck, however.
