Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

payroll fraud

my boss is having an affair with a subornate. I have access to payroll records in which she is paying him for work that is not being performed. She is also falsifing records of work that she claims that he is doing. I have copies of his payroll time sheets and copies of payroll sheets that are turned into the corporate office. And the two do not match. He is getting paid an average of $300 a week more than what he works. What recourse do I have as an employee to ensure that I do not lose my job or am crucified by the boss for snitching. We are already having problems with another employee that has blown the whistle for other issues and the company is taking the side of the boss. Now she is miserable and the boss is just waiting for the opportunity to fire her.

Re: payroll fraud

Just go to the corporate head with the evidence. He and she appear to be stealing from the company. They will have to worry about keeping their jobs it would seem. If you are worried, just send the information without your name or any identifying information attached to it.
