Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Plain Harassment

My wife works for a large bank as a loan officer she has a fellow employee that said very negative comments about my wife to a customer that was waiting for my wife to service them. This employee also approached my wife's customer when my wife was away from her desk to handle an issue for the customer.

The customer told my wife what her fellow employee had said about my wife.

Has my wife's fellow employee created an hostle enviroment for my wife to work in?

Re: Plain Harassment

No. First, there is no legal claim for "harassment" under Florida law. Second, while certain types of conduct may constitute racial harassment on sexual harassment, the information provided does not establish any such claim.
