Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

previous emplyment holding back bonus

i worked at an insurance agency i had earned my bonus they charged me back for an appraisal which was due to a homeowners issue that we didnt have the facts when writing the policy my agent did not train us or forward the email on the new change so i wrote it as i did for 2 yrs. so instead of admitting to the client she made a mistake and they needed to pay she charged me since i quit my job.

second a client had 350.00 in nsf he said he canceld his policy and i never suspended his acct and he had all these charges because of it and they charged me i dont ever recall him calling or asking me to do this.. i told my x- boss have this man call me because i did not speak with him

can they do this to me or how can i get my money back from them? this is the agents responsibility to owning her own agency.

thank you

Sounds like you could have a claim to recover monies owed by your former employer. I would need to see any policy manuals or papers given to you by employer. How much are you seeking to recover? E-mail or contact me if you want to talk further about your possible actions.
