Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Question for school

I'm an Orlando, FL resident and a student at the University of Phoenix online and a request was brought up about provide at least one example of an employment protection that is provided by your state system, but not by the federal system. Workers Compensation is governed by state law. Florida discrimination law, Chapter 760 in the statutes, is similar to federal discrimination law but offers slightly broader protections.

The best statutory example of a protection that Florida State law provides--that the Federal law does not provide by statute--is a prohibition on employers discriminating against an employee based upon their "marital status."
