Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
i currently quit my job, because they have cut my hours after being an employee for three years, the manager would yell at me "where the f*ck are you" if i was to call in ten minuets late, i would be reprimanded for not doing others jobs witch was not part of my job description, the manager suspended me for reasons that made no sense to other employees or my self, the manger also told me that she would never fire me but make it to where i would quit so i wouldn't be able to collect unemployment. so i filed for unemployment and just wanted to know if i would be eligible for the collection of unemployment?

Possibly, you might want to check out my employee rights blog www.takethisjobnshoveitblog.com where I have blogged on this issue. You probably want to file for unemployment and if employer contests it, make sure you follow all appeal deadlines. Your best bet would be to obtain an employment lawyer to handle any unemployment appeals.
