Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Recently I went into a restaurant I was formerly employed at to have some dinner. I sat at the bar not bothering anyone and occasionally talking to and catching up with employees who I used to work with. I left and thought nothing of it. A week later I was told by a bartender who works there I was banned from the building by the general manager. I don't feel as though I did anything to deserve this. I am also not the only former employee recently banned unjustly. Is this form of discrimenation against former employees illegal and what means of legal action can be taken?

I think that an employer can ban a former employee from the premises. They can't refuse service because of race, etcetera, but that it not apparently an issue here. Why would you want to give them the business in any event?
