Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

As Sabbatarians, my wife and I celebrate the Sabbath every Friday night. For the past 7 years, my wife has been permitted to leave her job at 4:30 on Friday afternoons to accomodate our religious needs. Recently, her job has undergone serious management changes and now, the new "boss" is requiring her to stay until 7:30 on Friday night. Is this allowable? Is this an EEOC complaint? Is there anything we can do? She has refused to stay in the past, but I am afraid that they will fire her if she does not stay.

If the job requires someone that needs to be there until 7:30 PM she should find a job that will accomodate her need to leave at 4:30. The employer is not required to allow her to leave early every Friday.
