Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

My son has been working since the middle of april as a free lance photographer and videographer for a new online magizine. He was promised $20 an hour for the events he covered. He has not been paid his $ 1720 worth of work but the website and magazine has used his work. How do we get his pay from this magazine?
