Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
What steps do I need to take to get my final paycheck. I was let go after not signing a non compete agreement. My check has been held now for approximately 3 weeks past the scheduled payday. I was paid on a draw system $700.00 bi weekly and then when I received my monthly commission check this amount would be removed. He owes me approximately $4,000.00. Neither he nor his bookkeeper respond to my emails or phone calls.,
