Can you sue an employer that you are contracted to if they knowingly conspired t

Can you sue an employer that you are contracted to if they knowingly conspired to have you terminated? A vice president & Marketing manager for a multi-billion dollar company have knowingly conspired to have my company replaced. Also, they have made false complaints to my home office stating things such as ''He doesn't do his job''. Recently, they have complained several times as I have learned htat they want to get out of the penalty for canceling their contract with me early. Is there any way I can get compensation for a job I will loose in 1 week?

First, when you day contacted, that has legal meaning, so do you have a written contact for a specific period of time? If the answer is no, then your ER can, under Florida law, fire you at any time for any reason and it is lawful to do so. The only other potential issue I could see at this point is if some has made knowingly false statements about you to third parties. If so, you may have potential defamation claim against any such indvidual--the problem here being filing a lawsuit against someone who may have no money and finding a lawyer who would take such a case.
