Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

For a summer job, I will be working as a camp counselor at a local day camp. A few weeks after I applied, the camp coordinator hand delivered a letter saying that I have been chosen to be a counselor and has what it says is my hourly wage. At the bottom is it hand signed and dated.

Now, my problem is that the hourly wage is higher than I thought it would be and I am thinking it could be a mistake. Because it is a signed agreement saying that I will be paid this amount, can the coordinator change it or will he have to pay the amount because the signed letter is practically contract?

Your best and simplest course of action is to call the coordinator and verify the amount you will be paid. That way you will not be surprised, one way or the other, once you start work and receive your first paycheck.
