Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

A Swiss company offer me a 1099, base plus commission job to purchase products (electronics, alarms, security systems, etc...), package, and ship them to their customers which are overseas. They pay all charges. Is it legal for me to perform these actions and accept monies to do so? I checked with the Swiss Consulate and the company is legitimate. I just need to know if what I will be doing is legal. Thank you for your help.

You would not be doing anything illegal, right? It is not against the law to purchase things and ship them overseas.
