Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
I was terminated from a large corporation and denied unemployment benefits for processing a transaction that Ihad authority or interest in. I did not process this transaction another employee did although she was terminated but not for processing the transaction. There was nothing wrong with the transaction that would cause any issues they would not have even known that the teller did this transaction if someone didn't alert them to a situation that this transaction revolved around. other than my new manager did not want me in the branch, she stated that there was too many woman and she could not manage women and needed some men in the branch. What can I do.

If they are denying your unemployment you have many levels of appeals you can file, make sure and follow all deadlines in the papers or you will lose out. It does not sound like they can deny you unemployment based upon what you set forth. If they terminated you because you were female, you may have a gender discrimination claim and should file and charge with the EEOC.
