Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Termination because lawsuit

I was hire on a salary plus commissions selling cell phones. Company was behind paying commissions. after several attempts I contacted the Department of Labor. They advise me to follow through a small claims (only solution). After a place the small claims for past due commissions, $4000, The company wanted me to sign a document stating it was a new handbook. After reading it, it was clear that I could lose my earned commisions, I approach managment and try talking about this. They fire me on the spot because I would not sign the document. This was done on monday and I found out that they were served on friday before. Is this grounds for wrongful termination?
