Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I've been threatened with my last check being witheld because of a handbbook I lost inwhich they did not inform me I had to return.I live in the state of Fl.What can I do to resolve this?

I dont believe your employer would be entitled legally to do this. You may want to confer with a lawyer to send a demand letter or bring a lawsuit to recover your last paycheck. There are Federal and florida statutes that would allow you to bring these types of claims and recover attonrneys' fees for bringing them. You can call my office if you wish to discuss further.
