Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I was told I was suspended after being wrongfully accused of theft of customers belongins after hours away from work. When I filed for unemployment my employer told them i was discharged for violating theft policy. I was granted unemployment but now my former employer is appealling. Should I persue benefits if my case is still open for the theft?
