Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Umbilical hernia surgery

I had a hernia that I did not report as a result of my job.

I had surgery and after the Dr release me to work on 5# lift minimum the company said they have nothing I can do till 4-16-07

when I can go back to lift less than 60#. I have been lifting machines with mechanical help but any way had to put muscle to it to bring them in place also to remove them

from 5' counters. Machines that weight up to 160# back inside to my vehicle,

They are ready to tell me that I won't be paid from now on.

What I need to do for this matter?

You should contact a workers' compensation attorney right away to explore what rights you may have in connection with benefits/treatment as a result of your injury.
