unemployment benfits

i volunteered to be laid off due to slow buisness.after about a week my employer told me they would deny unemployment benifits unless i would accept termination and when buisness i could come back as a new hire.thus loosing my senority health care 401 ect,and they would not promise to bring me back at my exsiting salery.or they will grant me my unemployment benifits if i pay the employer 300$ a month to cover my company benifits.can they really do this?i have been with this company almost 4 years
