Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
vacation pay and hours worked pay
In the state of Florida, do I have the right to get any vacation pay accumilated before My position was eliminated? I received the last check and did not get paid for 2 days of worked hours and 3 vacation days. The ex-employer did not give me a noticed of my position being eliminated. Do they have the right just to let an employee go without notice?
I had worked for this company 1 year and 11 months.

Re: vacation pay and hours worked pay
Florida haw no law that would require private employers to pay vacation benefits. However, if you have time that you actually worked but have not been paid for, your employer is required to pay all unpaid wages.
