Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

My vehicle was stolen while I was at work. My company required that I use my own vehicle or have reliable transportation. I work as a security officer for AlliedBarton Security Services. AlliedBarton has a contract with a company named Sembler, who owns a strip mall/shopping plaza, where the security officer on duty, is required to patrol the parking lot and several of the stores in the complex. My car was parked in the parking lot that was patrolled. Shouldn't AlliedBarton pay for my car?
