wage differences based on sex

what is the law regarding male and females doing the same job and being paid different starting salaries.

both males and females have the same experience or in some cases the female has more experience and is being paid less than the newly hired males with less experience and with less job duties.

The federal law that requires males and females be paid that same amount when performing the same job is called the Equal Pay Act or EPA.
