Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Wages

The hospital in which I work alledgedly does not budget for full time employee wages; therefore, employees are sent home early when the hospital census is low, allowing the hospital to meet their budget and requiring employees to try to make ends meet without a full paycheck. Is this legal?

Re: Wages

It would depend on your employment agreement with the hospital. If you are hired to work 40 hours a week, then they owe you for 40 hours. If you are hired to work as needed, then they owe you fpr as needed work.
