Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
Three weeks ago I was escorted out of my place of employment and told that I was "under investigation and needed to leave the property immediately". I was told that I was being suspended without pay. I have not yet received any correspondence or phone calls as to the reasoning for this "suspension" I have been employed with the this "tribal" property for 11.5 years. Is this something normal that companies can do to an employee?

No, this is not a normal thing. It sounds to me like you will be accused of stealing something, but that they do not have their facts straight. What else could it possibly be? It might be time to try to find out what the heck is going on. Working there for over 11 years, there must be someone you know who can find out. It might also be time to consult with a criminal defense attorney.
