Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Whistleblower against national bank

Worked for national bank where I was also customer with, observed unethical practices in the bank, brought it to management attention, was given more work, no training.

I observed unethical practices involving supervisors, employees and managment staff which included breaking privacy laws for mortgage customers & brought it to their attention.

After I refused to take a mandatory test sent by home office to all employees asking questions about their sexual preferences & other illegal questions, I was fired.

Please note that one week prior to my termination, OCC was involved and visited the bank & I along with other employees were told to conceal information from officials.

Two employees will testify on my behalf who were also fired. We do not have money to go up against this bank & therefore require a firm willing to take this case on a contingency basis.

Please advise & thank you.

Re: Whistleblower against national bank

If you were terminated because you refused to violate a law, rule or regulation which pertained to the bank's business, you may have a claim. However, it would be unclear how multiple people could all have the same type of claim. Nonetheless, please feel free to contact us at (305) 755-9441 for further assistance in this matter.
