Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

My wife works for a private employer in the state of Florida. She is salaried and her official days off each week are Friday and Saturday. Since Christmas falls on a Friday this year her employer is saying that she does not get paid for Christmas. She gets no day off and no paid holiday. Is that legal?

Yes, it is legal. The only exception would be if your wife has a contract with the employer which specifically states otherwise.
