The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) governs how much you are paid and for how long you can work. It also says that you must be paid the minimum wage for every minute you work. If you think you are being cheated, call U.S. Dept. of Labor, Wage & Hour Division in Jacksonville and file a complaint. You cannot be fired for making such a complaint.
