Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Please help me

I work for a guy that says he wants to have a meeting with all of his staff, and that all employees must attend this meeting, but he does not want to pay me to be here for 2 hours. how is this legal, and can I take any action if he fires me over this. please help me.

If you are required to attend a meeting, you must be paid. Go to dol.gov for more info, or, call the Department of Labor wage and hour division (there are offices at several locations in Florida).
