Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I work for a Security and we have a special assignment several of us have signed up for. The assignment is a four hour drive from the normal job site. The company is furnishing transportation round trip, however I would like to know if the time spent traveling is compensatible under Florida law? Thank you

You should probably be getting paid for this travel time if it is not ordinary commuting. You can speak to the U.S. Department of Labor or an employment law attorney that handles FLSA or Fair Labor Standards Act cases. Feel free to call me or check out my employee rights blog www.takethisjobnshoveitblog.com.
