Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I worked for a company for almost 9 years and was fully vested. I received my 401k, but would like to know if I can receive my pension plan money prior to retirement for hardship reasons. I am three months behind on my mortgage and car note and can no longer afford vital medicine. I worked for a previous employer and when I left that company they released my pension funds.
