Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I have worked for the current company for 13 years. The last project that I was involved in was completed in Oct 2013. We were promised a bonus in November of 2013 then the pay out date was moved to December and now it is January 2013 as the new payout date. The issue is that I have an opportunity to start work for a different company, if I take the position with the new company would I still be eligible for the bonus?
