Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
Working outdoors, then it rains...
I work outside and whenever it rains, they make us clock out and remain sitting at work not on the clock, not getting paid. Then if the rain passes we clock back in and go to work. But if the rain doesn't pass, they make us go home. But sometimes I have sat there for an hour waiting at work to see if the rain will pass or not. Is this legal what the company is doing to us?

I think it very likely that you should be paid for the time you are required to wait. I suggest you speak with an employment attorney. Feel free to send me an email.
