Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Workplace harassment Question: Recently a male supervisor followed me (a female direct report) home at night after working hours. He claims he was doing a driver observation connected to a culture of safety as part of the company policy. He also claims that he will continue to observe and make comments about my driving style. I asked if he is doing this to others and he said he was not observing others in this way. Driving is not part of my job description. I only drive to get to and from work. Since this incident, I have had panic attacks such as sweaty palms, headache, loss of appetite, shaking while driving. I had to have another co-worker follow me out of the parking lot to make sure I was not being followed. I have had a feeling of "creepy-ness". Do I have a claim for harassment, or hostile work environment? I know that I am not being discriminated against "per se" because I do not fall in a protected class. I plan to take this to our HR department, but I also wanted to know in the meantime whether or not I would have a case.

You need to take this issue to HR. Check your employee manual as well.
