Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

wrongful employment practice

I am a bookkeeper, 4 yrs. with same co. Two months into the job I discovered & disclosed a fellow emp. embezzling funds. The employee left-no legal action taken. The Co. has rehired this employee. I felt compelled to leave. Do I have reasonable cause for loss of income/career. I earn 40k per year? Thank you

Re: wrongful employment practice

No, you do not have reasonable cause. If you want to leave because you do not like your job or don't agree with your employer's decisions, that is fine -- but you have no claim for money because you are "compelled" to leave (which you are not).
