I was fired from my job, and found out that I was fired because my boss was on a authority kick, had no reason to fire me, do I have grounds to sue? I have proof from the General manager of the company I was working for. What can I do?

Re: wrongful fired

Unfortunately, what you've communicated seems to all into Florida's employment at-will doctrine, which allows employers to hire and fire for any reason--a good reason, a bad reason, or no reason at all--at any time. As such, no cause of action for wronful termination exists here. If, however, a motivating reason in your termination was your race, gender, national origin, religion, diability, age (if over 40), etc., the employer may have run afoul of the law.
