Wrongful Termination
I was hired at$7/hr& after4 months,I was offered me a GM pos.They said id have 45-50 hour work weeks/2 daysoff.I accepted&started 2 days later.I was never trained and when the new DM came,He learned I had NOT gotten the training I was promised.I worked60+ hrs/week&tried as hard as I could with what I had.The new DM made me feel as if I wasstupid,&I went fromloving my job,tofeeling like I couldnt do anything right.I saw my dr. several times due to onthejob stress problems.last Friday iwas scheduled 10-8&I came in at 9am.I stayed until 9pm,i let the DM know I was leaving-I was late picking up my kids.He was upset and made me feel bad for leaving.the next day I was scheduled at12,but ended up inhte E.R. due to a panic attack.the dr.told me to take 2 days off.Icalled the DM to tell him.He never answered orcalled me backso I showed up on Mon. morning.the DM told me I was terminated.His only answer was''lack of leadership''.I want to pursue a lawsuit against the company,is this possible?
