Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I am 55yrs old. I have been living with a man for 6yrs. He has paid the household bills except for food. It is his house. We both want me to leave but he refuses to let me take anything except my clothes. None of our pets, no gifts he gave me, nothing either of us bought. Am I entitled to more then just my clothes?

You are entitled to anything that is yours. You are likely entitled to anything you contributed to purchasing at the proportionate share of your investment in the item. You are entitled to any gifts your received. He may be entitled to the fair rental value of the property for the time, or maybe limited to the last 5 years, that you have been present. In order to enforce your rights you may need to file suit to require him to comply. consider working it out.
