Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Hi, I accidentally damaged the door frame to a parking garage that I rent. Now the door won't shut. It's not secure for me to park my car there now. My car insurance company already assigned an adjuster and contacted the owner of the garage. Should I have to continue paying rent on the garage until it gets fixed (since I can't use it now)?
Thanks

Your contractual obligations likely don't change since you were negligent and made it unusable. Speak to the owner and see if you can work something out.
