Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
allowed someone to move in our home for a short period of time know thay do not want to leave spoke with local police and thay said evict them. spoke with land lord tennents and thay wouldnt thouch it.We were also told evicting them may not work.

If they have not and have never paid rent and are just there becauise you have been nice, ask them to leave. If they refuse, change the locks, if they have keys.

They are not tenants if they do not pay rent, so you don't have to evict them. They have no legal right to be there, so you can tell them to leave, lock them out, and call the police if they are trespassing.
