Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I have been looking at apartments in Tampa, Florida. By background in construction, etc. has taught me how to measure square footage. I have found that , in many cases, that the advertised square footage and the actual square footage do not agree. Who regulates this discrepancy?

I don't think that it is regulated as rental is not necessarily based on it. Remember typically square footage is measured inside the walls not just floor space
